Grove Park
One of the Weston's finest parks
Escape to Grove Park for peace and serenity away from the bustle of the town. It’s the perfect place for a scenic picnic, or to enjoy rest and reflection.
The grounds are well-maintained by volunteers, to keep the space beautiful. Wander around Jill Dando’s picturesque garden. For a bit of history, investigate the two war memorials in the garden.
Don’t be put off by the squirrels – they’re very friendly! They’re used to visitors and it’s a safe space to bring your children.
A bit of history
This listed park was Weston’s first, and it opened way back in 1861.
Vision for the future
There are grand plans afoot to make this space even more beautiful. Look out for buildings being renovated, and the addition of new rookeries and water features.
